In The End

In the time of another fray I'll be watching the clock, nothing else to say, only wanting to lock the sad grimy door, asking for no more, when through the paltry keyhole shines the light of a golden shore.
But in the dark staring eyes, the clock's pointing hands, I find there's nothing else to suffice in these cold, dead hands. So I ask you one more time, looking out from the slime, if the stars are all you've ever really wanted.
But the figure roams on, to no end drinking cheap wine, 'round the bend, moaning, lost, without a fr
